On the day my son was born, August, 12, 2001, the Los Angeles Time magazine had cover article entitled, "Bubble Wrapping Baby." This is the generation my children have grown up in. A generation of safety, motivated by a gross amount of fear. The Word of God has other ideas of how we are to live and move and have our being with our God. It shows us how to be dangerous to the world, and thrive for the Kingdom of God. If this notion is of interest, you my friend, are in the right place. Simple Faith was created to throw of the shackles of safety in the eyes of the world, and become incredibly dangerous for the Kingdom of God. She Walks With God was birth out of 26+ years of prayer walking with our King.

As a young believer I spent hours at the beach in prayer and study. Once i was married, in an effort to stay physically fit without a gym, I would take long walks. Those walks turned into times of prayer, which quickly turned to times of intercession.
Deep intercession.
Over the years I have walked thousands of miles praying and interceding for my family, my friends, and my cities I am called to. There have been times of deliverance as I walked and times of intense grief. Thinking this was something every believer did, I never really mentioned it. I didn't know how dangerous I had become to the dark realms of the spirit and how victorious I was in the Kingdom of God, simply because I walk with my King and listened. As I began to share revelations and insights, it became apparent this wasn't a typical thing believers engaged in. Not a criticism, only an observation. As I started to share with people the idea of perhaps they could prayer walk their neighborhood, their schools, their cities even. blank yet curious looks came over their faces. The need to share and teach this idea was obvious.
So here we are. Here you are, on my forum section all about walking with our King. Make no mistake, this is not a typical forum where I/we will share the how tos of the Christian life. No, dear friend. What you will find here is warfare, walking in a strategic and purposeful manner to see the darkness that has spilled out on His wonderful world, is beat back and the captives that have been taken prisoner- set free. After all, isn't that what our Yeshua (Jesus) commanded us to do before He left the earth?
So with that, welcome. I am grateful to have another warrior walking with me as these roads get a little bumpy and precarious at times. Understand that I do not claim to know it all on the topic of prayer walking, I simply share what I have learned so far.
Daily in His unending love,
Jen
